Dark Horse White Horse showed up in my Spotify recommendations the other day. They classify themselves as symphonic tech metal. I saw my girl Marcela Bovio from Stream of Passion and MaYaN in the background art, and that was all I needed to check out their self-titled EP.
This stuff's not bad at all. The instrumentation is solid - true to the subgenre, the guitars are beefy and the drumming is nice and tight. Granted, I'm pretty sure I could listen to Marcela singing with clown/circus music playing in the background. I even like the one solo album of hers that I've heard so far, Through Your Eyes.
