Beyond the Black have been showing up on my Spotify recommendations list for a while now. I held off on listening to them because I accidentally confused them with a different band that had a similar-looking female vocalist. I had tried to get into that band several years ago but ended up not liking them.
They're pretty good. I like the guitar work, and their lead singer, Jennifer Haben, is so adorable. I like the three or four songs of theirs that I listened to tonight. Reincarnation is my favorite one so far. If I can manage to tear myself away from my jangly indie pop (rock) for long enough, I'll give their self-titled newest album a listen.

You're quite right about the female singers being all the same.....or nearly
